As Belize continues to experience strong momentum in tourism growth, the Belize Tourism Board (BTB) is pleased to announce the addition of a new nonstop flight from Spirit Airlines, further strengthening the country’s international airlift. Beginning November 21, 2025, Spirit will operate direct service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) in Florida and the Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) in Belize City.
This new route marks Spirit’s official debut into the Belize market and introduces a convenient and affordable option for travelers eager to explore the country’s unmatched tourism offerings. Spirit Airlines, known for its value-driven fares and extensive route network, will operate flights three times a week—Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays, using its Airbus A320 aircraft.
