Airport Expansion & Belize Tourism

Belize is expected to grow in 2025, as indicated by the over US $250 million expansion of Philip Goldson International Airport (PGIA), which will renovate the facility to accommodate more passengers and increase flight operations.

The project will deliver upgrades, including an expanded apron and new taxiway, an enlarged terminal building, new jet bridges, and shopping and restaurant options.

The Belize International Airport upgrades will enhance facilities and boost air traffic flow into Belize, potentially attracting new airlines and routes.
